Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVS)
The Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) is a system that moves the stale warm air from your home and replaces it with clean, fresh air. These HRVs are so efficient that very little heat is lost from your home while you use them.
How the system works:
As warm stale air from your home is drawn through the HRV, cool fresh air is drawn into the HRV in exchange.
How does this cool air get warm?
The heat from the indoor air is transferred through the HRVs aluminum core to the incoming fresh air, warming it. The stale air is pushed out during this process and your home in its entirety is filled with warm, clean, fresh air.
